Brett is the lead singer / lead guitarist of Minneapolis rock band Downtread. Full contact rock-n-roll: Downtread specializes in aggressive riffs, titanic drums and ferociously catchy songwriting.
“I’m using the Aria and the 30MS in my live rig. The Aria’s overdrive is killer – perfect for shaping my tone and pushing my amps to the limit. And its compressor is just right for adding a little more juice to solos. The Aria’s flexibility really stands out, because I can choose the clipping modes and the effects order. I run the 30MS in the loop and return to a second 100-watt head for a big wide stereo vibe that doesn’t sound forced…a nice touch of lushness. It looks bad-ass in black too. My other Keeley faves are the Oxblood Overdrive, Java Boost, and the Mag Echo.”
