Will Kimbrough

Guitarist, Singer, Songwriter

“Robert Keeley’s stuff has always been top of the line in terms of tone and build quality — his taste in tone is impeccable and I love that.”

Will Kimbrough works in the tradition of creator/musicians like Ry Cooder, Michael Bloomfield, Richard Thompson, Buddy Miller, Jerry Douglas—he’s in demand as a player, yet his songs have been recorded by the likes of Jimmy Buffett, Little Feat, Todd Snider and Jack Ingram.  He was named Instrumentalist of the Year in 2004 by the Americana Music Association, yet he’s made over a dozen solo and band albums as a lead singer.  Will Kimbrough is a passionate singer-songwriter, rock n roller, roots afficianado and Nashville mainstay who is currently producing Queen of the Blues Shemekia Copeland and brilliant outsider Steve Poltz.  Will’s latest release of his own is DADDY “Let’s Do This”—the most recent album of classic rock n roll and blues with Tommy Womack and their all star band.
