PAUL PRIEST

Composer / Guitarist

I started strumming a G chord at 7 years old, backing my banjo-frailing older brother for a bunch of years before moving to electric at 15. At 21, I started self-recording my own music with a makeshift, ragtag set-up. After bands and copious quantities of gear, I still record, get some of my music placed on cable TV, and continue to explore this fractal instrument with the music it creates

“Keeley pedals begged to be stomped. Years ago, from the first note of my first Fuzz Head, I discovered that great guitar tone had a gold medalist in Robert Keeley. And my pedalboard’s prima donna, the Neutrino Envelope Filter, reigns supreme with its truly preternatural caterwauling.”
