This very limited run was inspired by the modified Red Dirt Overdrive we made for John Petrucci exactly a year ago. He took a pair of them on tour and we decided to let our customers in on the secret mod. The Red Dirt Professional Overdrive is upgraded with a Burr Brown Chip for much lower background noise levels and a special mixture of clipping LED. Like the original Red Dirt Overdrive, only fatter, bigger, and more tube-like.
Higher Output Volume, Bold/Rounder Clipping, and a Fatter Frequency Response.

The Red Dirt overdrive began from a quest to find the perfect classic drive sound while also offering new levels of sonic versatility to satisfy a wider range of musical styles. Founder and head engineer Robert Keeley took this idea and combined the great sounds found within his original “Mod Plus” and “Baked” modified pedals and added refinements found exclusively in his custom pedal line.
