Jake Curran is a freelance guitarist from Dublin. His influences include musicians such as Pat Metheny, Michael Landau, John Coltrane and Miles Davis. From a young age he began playing in pits for theatre shows around which helped greatly improve his musicianship and reading abilities. He believes that being a well rounded musician is the key to enjoying being a professional guitarist and keeping the phone ringing. Jake has played with a wide variety of artists including Michael Buble, Embrz and Maren Morris. He also fronts his own original instrumental band. Last year, Jake joined Niall Horan’s band for the Flicker World Tour. After a busy 2017, this year has began with recording sessions for artist Lisa Lambe, gigs with his own quartet and pre production for Niall Horan’s next tour which begins in March.
