The Absolüte Würst Pedal by Keeley Electronics!
When the worst sound is not bad enough, get the Wurst. When a Rainbow Device is just too pretty, get the Absolute Wurst.
Came Today – April 1st Release!
The Absolüte Würst – No matter how much this seems like a joke (and it is), it isn’t! This pedal is for real. I thought what a perfect day to release the most “broken sounding” pedal I could. Not since the DOD Gonkulator has there been such a hideously beautiful sound. For Experimentalists, Mathematical Atonal Nerds, and Noise-Scape Artists.
Monty Pantheon of Tones – Four minus One Modes
The Absolüte Würst MODES
- Random – Insane Random Harmony Generator – Pretty much unüsable. Enjoy! 😉
- Pitch up – Cräzy Harmony Up. Air Guitarist on Acid (aka “Chorus”)
- Pitch down – The Drünken Bäss Pläyer. Low synth sounds and other strange weirdness. Unexpected throbs.
The Absolüte Würst CONTROLS
- Upper Left – Blend your original signal, dry to all the way wet. All the way SELFIE or PANORAMIC for you FB or IG peeps.
- Upper Right – Speed (in Random Mode) — Pitch Range for Up and Down Modes.
- Lower Left – Proximity – How close, or the Proximity to original note that the “harmony” is.
- Lower Right – Gain – as in PutOut.
Other Features
Bypass – It’s either On or… Off.
Battery Free – Shoe Gazing turns it on and stuff – Power Drain 60mA or greater.
Keeley Engineered – Days of experience and thoughtful design in the foolish and absurd.
3D Glasses – Not Required, but they do make the pedal sound better.
Album Liner Notes and Credits: If you think you’re gonna play the blues with this, you’re wrong. Nothing to see here, move on to the Compressor Pro page. If you think compressors are a waste of time and the only time your pedals sound good are when the battery is dead, you’re at the right place! I designed this pedal in concept while texting and driving. Texting both Atlee Hickerson and the mad scientist Aaron Tackett, they got it done. Sew Prowd Uf Ewe Too!
Again, however much you may be inclined to think this is an April Fools joke, it isn’t. Just the release date happened to work out nicely. 😉
None of that Play Hard or Play Your Best, type slogans here, okay well maybe, Sound Your Worst and Mean It!
